My Partially Torn ACL Says Hi

So the MRI is in and our suspicions were confirmed my ACL is partially torn. Wooo Hooo! For me – no not really :( So I wait for the "specialist" to get back to my family doctor with next steps. Next steps could be a simple scope procedure or possibly an operation to rectify the ACL. I am told the specialist will take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to get back to us with his recommendation - WOW! Physiotherapy has help a lot and most if not all the swelling has finally subsided. Though I am not sure if its going to help much further given that I know the ACL is torn and needs repair. Anyone aware of a really go sports physio (accredited) location in Toronto please feel free to leave me the details.

Cheers

Mayor Millers New Toronto Taxes | How do we survive?

So Mayor Miller and Toronto Council managed to pass the property and vehicle tax hikes yesterday. Through it all nothing has been said on what the city council is going to do to SAVE MONEY!

I wish they put as much due diligence and work into saving money (which any financial planner will tell you is a GOOD thing!) than in increasing taxes. I find it really hard to believe that Council could find no other areas to increase savings – Did we vote for a bunch of Incompetent Monkeys to bleed us dry? Shame on us!

For how the taxes are going to effect you, down the PDF here.

To keep a record of which councilor, representing which ward voted for the taxes (and possibly set-up on your DART BOARD) you can find the PDF here.

And not only have they increased taxes they plan on increasing them some more to cover what the new taxes will not. To find out how much more money you will be forking over based on Councils recommendations click here.
